Green tea indeed works to get rid of acne. boil a cup of water and soak a spoon full of green tea leaves and cover the bowl with a lid. Let the tea cool down and reach room temperature. Strain the leaves and store the tea in a clean bottle. This can be used overnight once you have cleansed your skin with a natural cleanser like honey, to tone the skin. Wash it in the morning. You will see results in 2 days, tightened pores and reduced acne and acne marks. The bottle should be refrigerated and the potion should be used for a week after which you can brew tea again and use the freshly brewed tea for a week.

I totally agree that there is a clear link between diet and acne. I definitely notice changes in my complexion based on what I'm eating.

Also, if you think about it, why is it that people in some indigenous societies (who have not yet been exposed to a Western diet) do not experience acne skin conditions whatsoever across the entire population? This is a huge contrast to the widespread presence of acne in the U.S. and in modern society in general.

And in some parts of the world where the Western diet is being introduced and adopted, these people are now getting acne! Clearly these situations demonstrates a link between diet and acne.

I recently came across these statistics when I was researching Accutane for acne treatment and I just wanted to share them since I was surprised and they dissuaded me from using Accutane:

For 10% of users, acne comes back after one year. For 25% of users, acne comes back after two years. Sometimes Accutane makes acne worse before it gets better. And sometimes, it makes acne much worse than it originally was and causes bad scarring.
